<p>Gambling isn&#8217;t my thing, so I go to ;Las Vegas ;to eat (and see shows). Here are my picks for some of the best foods in Las Vegas from my recent girl&#8217;s trip where I spent <a href="https://mostlysolotravel.com/48-hours-in-las-vegas-what-i-spent/">48 hours in Las Vegas</a>!</p>

<p>Located in the Arts District of Las Vegas, <a href="https://tripadvisor.tp.st/kU8V07qy">Esther’s Kitchen</a> was truly a highlight of our trip and tops my list of best foods in Las Vegas! The popular restaurant recently moved to a new spot that&#8217;s just around the corner from their old space and the new space is warm and inviting. We had a Wednesday night reservation and despite arriving almost 15 minutes early, we were seated quickly.</p>



<p>We started our meal with Esther&#8217;s housemade sourdough bread topped with basil ricotta spread and homemade butter and we instantly wished we had ordered the Chef&#8217;s Spread with additional toppings because the spread was incredibly flavorful and delicious.</p>







<p>While my friends both chose pizzas for their entrees and they were delicious, I had the Truffle Ricotta Gnudi and it definitely stole the show! I&#8217;m a big fan of gnocchi but had never tried gnudi before and holy cow, I was missing out! The melted cheese of the roasted mushroom fonduta and the button mushrooms paired perfectly with the pillowy gnudi.</p>



<p>The only bad thing about Esther&#8217;s was that we were too full for dessert! That being said, I will absolutely be returning on my next visit to Las Vegas!</p>

<p>After dinner at Esther&#8217;s, we all got $10 tattoos at Koolsville Tattoo Las Vegas and that left us feeling a little snacky. We stopped at <a href="https://tripadvisor.tp.st/Wf3UAeeA">Freed&#8217;s Bakery</a> and got a half pound of cookies for $10. The sign said we&#8217;d get approximately 12-16 cookies but we all swear that we got far more than that! We all had our favorite cookies and liked some better than others, but we agreed that they were the perfect late-night (and early-morning) snack!</p>

<p>Breakfast the next day was at <a href="https://www.morningnewslasvegas.com/">Morning News</a> and we were enamored from the moment we pulled up to the building because it&#8217;s decorated with adorable caricatures of pancakes and eggs and waffles. The fun and laidback vibes continued inside where we were greeted warmly and seated almost immediately. The restaurant was busy on a Thursday morning, so I can only imagine that you&#8217;d find yourself waiting for a table on the weekend. The service was quick and my Bananas Foster Pancakes were amazing. The ice cream was a bit much for me since dairy is not always my friend, but I enjoyed it nonetheless! This was by far the most affordable meal we had in Las Vegas and another location I plan to return to during a future trip.</p>

<p>If you&#8217;re an oldie (but a goodie) like me, <a href="https://tripadvisor.tp.st/lwRRVbEg">18bin</a> is a spot best enjoyed earlier in the day. Even during our early brunch on a Friday morning, the music was pumping and the DJ was setting up for what was sure to be an epic afternoon of tunes. The vibes were fun, but we&#8217;re definitely glad we weren&#8217;t there later in the day when it was more energetic.</p>



<p>To start our meal, we shared the Cinnamon Toasties and the house-made chips and salsa. The chips are thicker than I prefer but still good, and the salsa is more of a hot sauce than a traditional salsa (this came in clutch later for my entree) but it was the Cinnamon Toasties were the star of the show! The donuts were light and fluffy, the cream cheese frosting was the perfect consistency, and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch was still crispy! I was sad that we shared this appetizer as I could have eaten all three of them by myself. For my entree, I had a Breakfast Burrito and washed it down with a Strawberry Smash. The burrito was solid and filling and enhanced by the salsa from the chips and salsa appetizer and the Strawberry Smash was light and refreshing.</p>

<p>18bin&#8217;s brunch is definitely one I&#8217;ll be returning to and you know I&#8217;m getting my own order of Cinnamon Toasties next time! </p>
