<p>When I went solo hiking in <a href="https://mostlysolotravel.com/sedona-travel-guide/">Sedona</a> the <a href="https://amzn.to/494InWM">Garmin In Reach</a> gave me valuable peace of mind that in case of emergency, I could reach out to friends or family even when I didn&#8217;t have cell service (it bounces around pretty badly in the canyons of Sedona and can be very hit or miss). While it does require a subscription, you can temporarily suspend it while you&#8217;re not traveling.</p>
