I recently spent 16 days traveling in Italy and brushing up on my Italian language skills! Here’s what I spent so that you can get an idea of what it might cost to plan a similar trip!

  • Includes restaurants, snacks grabbed at train stations, SO MUCH GELATO, groceries for breakfast most days, and groceries for lunches while in Lucca

  • Lucca Italian School (20 hours of Italian lessons) *20/10 I cannot recommend this enough!
  • Afternoon umbrella and chair rental at Viareggio Beach *if you go after lunch you can typically negotiate a cheaper rate which I did!

  • Shopping (souvenirs and odds and ends like sunscreen)
  • eSim for my cell phone
  • Total: $702.97

Grand Total: $5448.33 for 16 days

I definitely could have cut costs here and there, but I have zero regrets on what I spent and had the best Euro summer!
