<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Are there overwater bungalows in the US?</h2>



<p>As someone who&#8217;s worked in the travel industry for over a decade, one of the most common questions I&#8217;m asked is: are there overwater bungalows in the US? And my answer is, &#8220;kind of&#8221;. While yes, there actually are a few overwater bungalows in the US, they&#8217;re not the typical dreamy overwater bungalows that you see in photos. Those overwater bungalows are mostly in the South Pacific and a super long flight from the US. But that&#8217;s not to say that there aren&#8217;t some unique overwater bungalows in the US!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Are there overwater bungalows in Hawaii?</h2>



<p>One of the things people find most disappointing is that there are no overwater bungalows in <a href="https://mostlysolotravel.com/category/destinations/north-america/united-states/hawaii/">Hawaii</a>. Between the jagged lava rock coastline and the rougher waters, there is no way to safely build overwater bungalows in Hawaii.</p>
